As a teaching museum, the Williams College Museum of Art advances learning through lively and innovative approaches to art for the students of Williams College and communities beyond the campus. In 2004, the museum organized 21 new exhibitions, served 29 academic courses using exhibitions, provided collections access to 2,115 individuals, and organized educational activities for almost 4,000 schoolchildren and teachers from throughout the region.
