Valley Music Lessons offers private instruction in guitar, music theory, composition, songwriting, and percussion. All lessons are taught by Zak Trojano, an internationally performing guitarist and songwriter. Zak graduated from Skidmore College in 2002 with a BS in music. He studied Jazz and composition in college with a particular focus on guitar and percussion. In more recent years he has developed a unique sound as a finger style guitar player and songwriter. He performs solo (www.zaktrojano.com), and also as a sideman for Chris Smither, Jeffrey Foucault, Peter Mulvey, Kris Delmhorst, and many other great artists. He comes from a long line of teachers and musicians. Zak particularly enjoys teaching guitar and music theory to students who want to understand how music works.
