SUE AND APRIL GRANT

Performing Group

In their concert "Songs of the Sea Creatures", Sue and April Grant take a light-hearted look at life in the sea. Grey seals, oysters, and even lowly lugworms share turns in the limelight. The focus is on fun celebrating the denizens of the deep, including American eels, squid and sea-robins. Little creatures from along the shore, such as barnacles and surf clams, star in songs specially written for them. Sue's original song, "Beautiful Stinger", shows why we have to be cautious with sea anemones. April's story, "Jonah and the Grampus", gives us a whole new slant on why the whale in the tale acted the way he did. Be prepared for any or all of these creatures to take center stage in this family concert by two enthusiastic and experienced singers.
