Steph Reyes

Stephanie Reyes was born in Manati, PR. She studied at the Ballet School of Puerto Rico, JEB, and received a BA from the Universidad del Rey Juan Carlos ISDAA, Madrid, and an MFA in Devised Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. She also trained in the international theatre school Arthaus, Berlin in 2019 as part of her MFA.

Stephanie created the piece “Into the” that won the 2018 Contemporary Dance Artistic Creation of the year at ISDAA. She is interested in collaborative and multimedia work that incorporates visual art, movement, text, installations, music, and more. She is interested in exploring multi-disciplinary work and brings LATINE history, fights, and more into her process.

During the winter of 2017, she participated in the «Gaga Winter Workshop» in Israel taught by the Batsheva Company and Ohad Naharin. Stephanie has been a part of recognized companies like – Ballet the Camara de Madrid, Taller de Andanza, and Guateque Ballet Folklorico.
