We are a 300 acre public/private Park in the foothills of the Berkshires with trails, woods, picnic areas, recreational facilities, and gardens which include The All-America Rose Selection, Inc. Public Rose Garden, The Japanese Garden, The Rhododendron Display Garden, The Arboretum, The Herb and Perennial Display Garden, The American Wildflower Society Display Garden. There is the Frank Stanley Beveridge Wildlife Sanctuary, the Carillon Tower, a Colonial Pond area with an orchard, working mill and waterwheel, an old town meeting house, carriage shed and blacksmith shop, and arched bridges all with a backdrop of flowering azaleas and rhododendron.
There are summer concerts, a variety of festivals, garden workshops, and children’s programs. Most events are free to the public. There are wedding sites and a large pavilion with a commercial kitchen available for a fee.
