A theater maker, director and performer, Sara Katzoff is the co-founder of Bazaar Productions and The Berkshire Fringe, where she has spent the last decade devising, developing and curating new work for the stage. Recent directing collaborations include: PASSAGE (Kickwheel Ensemble Theater); Facing Our Truth (Colonial Theatre); Everywoman (WAM Theatre/University at Albany); The Motherf**ker With the Hat, Noises Off, Dog Sees God (Mass College of Liberal Arts); This Generation/My Generation (Barrington Stage's Playwright Mentorship Program); Grounded (24 Hour Theater Project); Miss Valentine (NYC); Hurricane Hotel (Daniel Arts Center), The Exonerated (UAlbany) and The Waypoint (MASS MoCA, artist in residence). As a performer, Sara has toured nationally with Landis & Company and Dell'Arte and appeared in My Children.... My Africa! (Rattler Productions); Othello (Infamous Genius Theater); Shotgun Wedding (Dell'Arte Company); 900 Dreams (Spencertown Academy) and DARK: An End of the World Play with Music and an Exercise Bike (Mixed Company, Berkshire Fringe). Sara is a founding company member of Kickwheel Ensemble Theater, a graduate of the Dell'Arte International and holds a B.A in performance studies from Bard College at Simon's Rock. She is currently a guest director in the Fine and Performing Arts program at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a visiting lecturer at the University at Albany. She works as a freelance theater artist and educator throughout the Northeast.
