Sakina Ibrahim

Sakina Ibrahim is a NAACP Image Award nominated Author, Social Entrepreneur, and Professor of Dance. She has been featured in publications such as Aspire TV and Black Enterprise Magazine. Sakina merges her passions for the arts, education, and entrepreneurship under her consulting company S.E.W Solutions LLC where she works with clients, non-profit organizations, and universities to create empowering educational programming. Sakina is a passionate woman whose brand focus is creativity, education, and inspiration. Sakina holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts. Her performance credits include The Harlem Arts Festival, Beauty Shop the Play (OWN), Bayside the Musical (Off-Broadway), and more. Sakina's book Big Words to Little Me: Advice to the younger self-was self-published in 2016 preceding her most recent inspirational title, Daily Moves: Affirmations for the Millennials. In addition to teaching, creating, and business she enjoys speaking to diverse audiences of youth and sharing her life experiences and values of hard work, compassion, and self-awareness.
