Pamela Matsuda-Dunn

Artist / Creative (Individual)

Originally from Hawaii, I spent a large part of my adulthood in New York City, where I had a dance company called BalletWorks and where I began my visual arts career. Initially, my work was in oil and works on paper. In 2008, I began working more in 3-dimensions, drawn by the possibilities of everyday materials. My work deals with archetypes in mythology and the personal legend.

In 2016, I moved to western Massachusetts where I now live and work. I am currently collaborating with Amherst HS students on a public art piece which delves into the concept of community. Look for news updates here and on my website: pmdart.net
