Nicol Wander’s artistic background ranges from a BFA in Painting and Sculpture later an MFA in Puppetry, graduating from the Institute of Professional Puppetry Arts. Wanderful Creations offers many children’s puppetry programs, some with nutritional themes, an entertaining way of teaching children about healthy foods. Nicol’s accomplished story telling brings her characters to life in classic tales and fables that teach universal lessons of goodness and moral fiber. She creates the scripts, puppet stages and all her 40 performing puppet characters from large parade types, marionettes, humanettes, shadow, finger, rod and/or muppet type puppets.
Nicol also teaches the art of Needle Felting, offering classes and workshops in this popular fiber art to crafts centers, Adult Educational centers, Libraries, and individual home-based workshop gatherings.
Presently offering a 3 hour create and learn Needle Felt a Bluebird or a finger-puppet head workshop.
