Neighborhood Grow Plan

Cultural Series Organization

We are a collective of culture workers working carefully to respond creatively and sustainably towards harnessing the power of culture making to create irresistible pathways to support great work towards intersectional food, land and housing justice happening locally.

The idea started as a combination of raised bed + container gardening at young organizers' homes with support support as many neighbors along the street where they live to also grow and share knowledge and produce when it comes time to harvest. It has since grown to begin to build and provide programming at greenhouses with invitation on lots held by community land trusts. We are also in midst of activating a land knowledge transfer of a food forest, which we hope to manifest as a creative community learning tool.

We work collaboratively and piece-wise or project-based so we can work most optimally with who and what we have access to at any given time in order to see each project through.
