Michelle Marrocco

Artist / Creative (Individual)

My mission is to empower others with the skills and confidence to take ownership of their own authentic voices. For ten years, I’ve taught music to kids, teens, and adults. In their weekly lessons, students learn to perform some of their favorite songs while honing their performance technique. Students build confidence by identifying their own strengths, as well as opportunities for improvement. My teaching is guided by each student’s individual needs and interests. To meet these needs, I borrow from a variety of teaching methods and musical genres, including Kodaly, Solfege, Suzuki, classical, folk, pop, jazz, and musical theater.

As a classically trained vocalist and violinist, I’ve performed with orchestras, chamber groups, and as a soloist. I currently perform with the Bennington County Choral Society, Sage City Symphony, local chamber groups, and am available as a studio musician.
