 Singer, songwriter, guitarist, & ethnic folklorist Laura Wetzler tours internationally in over 100 concerts & lectures each year, singing original story songs, worldbeat Jewish music from Africa, Asia, Europe & the Americas, and soulful renditions of The American Songbook. Her concerts feature music from her 5 CDS and other multi-ethnic and American favorites performed solo, or with her trio, including jazz bassist extraordinaire Wes Brown and multi-ethnic percussionist Robin Burdulis.

Laura Wetzler began singing professionally at the age of 15. Her celebrated CDs: Flying, Songwriter's Notebook, Again! Again! Songs for Kids, Kabbalah Music, and her newest, The Fracking Blues, are available at laurawetzler.com, cdbaby.com and itunes. Laura has shared stages with such artists as Pete Seeger, Odetta, Richie Havens, The Klezmatics, and many others. Meticulous research goes into creating Laura’s 50 different concert and music lecture programs performed at venues in the US, Europe and Africa, including Cami Hall, The Brooklyn Museum, 92StY, Greenwich Village Folk Festival, Limmud International Festival, Central Park Bandshell, Celebrate Brooklyn!, Yale, and Road Scholar International, among others.

Laura is also the writer, director, producer, and composer of the multi-award-winning new film, What Happened at the Veterans Home?  awarded Best Humanitarian Film in Prague and Best Screenplay in Paris, and was recently featured  on WGBY-TV, WRSI, WAMC and WBUR Public Radio.
