Klezamir plays Jewish music - klezmer tunes,  both traditional ones dating to the 1900’s in Eastern Europe and brought to the USA by Jewish immigrants and original klezmer tune, and Hebrew melodies. If a singer is requested, the songs are sung in Yiddish, the language of Jews in Eastern Europe for 1000 years until the Holocaust, Hebrew, and some English.
