Katie Rubright is an American painter known for her landscapes of emotion that are infused with the pleasure of looking. Her paintings and drawings investigate the notion of freedom in anxious times, with a distinct preference for the outdoors. A born and raised Virginian working in southern Berkshire County, she studied at Hunter College and has participated in several group shows in New York City and Great Barrington, MA, in addition to a solo show in the Hudson Valley in 2021.
