Justin tells stories that are true. While this is the fact that he's most proud of---his stories tell the truth---there is another reason to listen. You won't hear what he has to say anywhere else, because Justin likes to tell stories that have been hidden.
As a trans man, husband, mother, and community leader, his searches for answers to global economic and political questions often lead him to the intimacy of our homes, bodies, and identities. Like many queer people, Justin is estranged from his family of origin. In response, he uses genealogy and history to understand how even the disconnected are integral to the networks that sustain us.
Understanding who we are is an interdisciplinary course of study that never concludes. Finding out where we came from and who went before us is a devotional practice.
Justin Cascio is available for writing, speaking, and consulting engagements.
