Justin Cascio

Artist / Creative (Individual)

Justin Cascio is a nonfiction writer and genealogist who uses genealogy to tell the history of the Mafia.

His interest in the Mafia began with learning about his family’s roots in Corleone, Sicily: home of the fictional "Godfather," Vito Corleone. Justin's famous cousins from Corleone include Los Angeles Mafia boss Jack Dragna, New York City capo di tutti capi Giuseppe Morello, and the actor who portrayed Michael Corleone in "The Godfather" movies, Al Pacino. Justin Cascio appears in the 2022 documentary, Pasqualina of Springfield, as an expert on the Prohibition-era bootlegger from Springfield, Massachusetts. He writes regularly for Informer Journal and his own website, Mafia Genealogy, and is a popular guest on podcasts. His first book, IN OUR BLOOD: THE MAFIA FAMILIES OF CORLEONE, is available on Amazon.
