Haylee Ritter (she/her) is a performer, choreographer, and educator based in Texas and Massachusetts. Performing is one of Ritter’s greatest joys as well as working with other artists to bring their visions to life. As a student at SC, Ritter has performed works by Gallim Dance (Andrea Miller), CONTA-TIEMPO (Ana María Alvarez), Sarah Zehnder (Zehnder Dance), Kodee Van Nort, and Maureen Shea. In the summer of 2024 Ritter performed Vein, choreographed by Grace Regean, at the Oklahoma International Dance Festival. Ritter has performed at the 80th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor (2021), and the Cotton Bowl pregame and halftime performance (2022 & 2023), at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as a dancer in the Mariah Carey Finally (2022), a Rangerette (2022), and a Macy’s dancer (2021). Her most recent choreographic research, Lost Trajectory, explores the feeling of not knowing what to do or what the next steps will be. She has started a new choreographic exploration within the idea that two things can be true at once. As an educator, Ritter has taught at many dance institutions over the years such as studios, summer camps, and public studios. Ritter received an Associates of Arts in Dance from Kilgore College where she was a Rangerette. Currently, she is obtaining a Bachelors of Arts in Dance at Springfield College (SC) and will graduate in May 2025.
