I am a painter and printmaker. My works include paintings and carvings on wood panels, woodcut prints, collages and mixmedia. My inspiration comes from the observation of nature, cultural symbols, childhood memories and current events. I have a background in children books illustration and my illustrated books have received several awards.
Born in Colombia, I received my art education at Universidad Nacional in Bogota and later in Atelier 17 and Atelier Adac in Paris, France.
I live and work in North Adams, MA since 2019.
