Esther White

Esther S White is an artist living and working in Northampton, MA and born in Cambridge, MA. She studied printmaking and photography in New York City, at Barnard College, Columbia University (B.A. 2007), and the International Center of Photography. She is a member of Zea Mays Printmaking in Florence, MA, a community studio dedicated to safer printmaking practices. Her work was recently included in a group exhibition at the New Hampshire Institute of Art, Prominent Printmakers, and awarded first prize in printmaking by the Monson Arts Council. Esther S White is represented in the Zea Mays Printmaking Flat File Project and a member of the Monotype Guild of New England and Boston Printmakers. Esther is a co-founder of HQ Press, publisher of short-run photocopied artists' books and zines printed in an underground garage in Northampton, MA.
