In North Adams, Massachusetts, in the northwest corner of the Berkshires, a former textile mill known as the Eclipse Mill, has been converted into forty artist live/work studio loft condominiums.
Each artist had the opportunity to design their own loft during the restoration of the mill, which began in 2002 and was completed in 2005. The lofts range in size from 1700 to 3500 square feet.
