Christopher Petersen

Artist / Creative (Individual)

Christopher is an artist and thinker working through performance art in public locations as well as installed spaces. He is interested in creating work that explores duration and how we experience as both performer and audience. He views his work as attempts to recreate his vision of the life he sees, and although usually ending up as simply shadows of what first struck him, he still finds satisfaction is these attempts.

Christopher has a BA in Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he created work as a performance artist as well as an instalation artist. He has performed locally throughout Massachusetts as well as in New York. He currently resides in Holyoke, Massachusetts where he is working on a new performance installation based on The Last Dream of the Beast by Morton Subotnick.
