CAROL WEIS

Artist / Creative (Individual)

Carol (the Cow-Lady) entertains children & adults alike with her fun-filled readings at schools, libraries & senior centers around New England. Her Meet the Author program (PK-2) features calliope music, a lively reading of her picture book, WHEN THE COWS GOT LOOSE, a retelling of the true story behind the book, and concludes with a rousing sing-along.

Carol’s poetry collection, DIVORCE PAPERS, led her to develop a program (gr 3 & up) called Poems Have Feelings, Too. From sad to mad to downright silly, poems are a place to go with feelings. Carol cooks up a recipe to get your students on their way to writing poems with feelings, too. Carol’s programs are energetic, interactive & educational, producing enthusiastic response from all who attend.
