BOB ALONGE

Artist / Creative (Individual)

The Living Your Dream Program was designed by Bob Alonge to help individuals fulfill their inner-most artistic passions through the use of “supportive activities and interventions.” The program is based on Mr. Alonge’s book Art 4 All, An Artist’s Journey in this World and his SUPPORTIVE PROCESS theory.
Mr. Alonge is an artist, educator, author and social worker with over 25 years of experience. He has used his program in his Boston, MA area art center and while consulting with schools and towns, as well as his classrooms and therapy sessions.
He believes that when an individual finds outlets for creative expression, they can feel success in the most meaningful sense and that through support of a supportive system, they can achieve an “expression-filled” life that help them connect with their inner creative awareness and ultimately to find their personal fulfillment.
This expression then becomes a vital part of their life, thus cultivating their “Expressive Voice” that effects others in a better sense.

The LIVING YOUR DREAM PROGRAM uses Mr. Alonge’s CREATIVE PROCESS Model...The Creative Process is a theory, derived from his book, Art 4 All, An Artist’s Journey in this World, that supposes that when individuals are “surrounded” by others who are supporting them, then their potential is realized. When in the cycle of this support and encouragement, individuals recognize their artistic potential while developing techniques/strategies to further encourage their interests and talents. This results in an individual finding and advancing their outlets for creative expression and feeling success in the most meaningful sense; increasing self-esteem through the use of their creative talents and finding inner joy through their successes.

The Creative Process Workshop helps caregivers recognize, more fully, their client’s personal interests and then develop techniques/strategies and activities to encourage them to pursue and perpetuate these interests through activities and exercises.

The goal of these trainings is to :
Help caregivers to encourage their clients to expand their interests and turn them into tools to achieve increased self-esteem through the use of their creative talents and to pursue inner joy through these regular artistic practices.
Increase “strength focused” interaction, between caregivers and their clients and to broaden their understanding of their clients’ unique talents.

How does this practically happen?
Mr. Alonge will initially meet with you to determine your goals. He will gather information about your targeted audience and your staff. He will then design a program personalized just for you. He will then send you a final contract that will include the final cost for his services. This will include: the cost of any additional copying, follow up trainings, needed changes, and times and dates. The 1-2 hour training will include interactive discussion and team-building exercises. Participants will leave with new ideas and projects to help their clients, as well as new ways to help them express themselves.
