Artist / Creative (Individual)

As a Fine Arts graduate from Portland State University, I quickly recognized how intimidating the traditional art scene could be. Luckily, Portland's eclectic café scene provided a more intimate platform to share my creations and make connections with a diverse audience. While living in Central Oregon, I participated in an annual art show that encouraged me to explore diverse themes, experiment with techniques, and focus on creating art on a small scale. I have continued to embrace this small scale approach as it has allowed me to create art while embarking on longer overseas adventures.

As a woman, Alaskan & Cherokee Native, and first generation graduate, I feel it is high time for me to truly invest in my art practice and further explore and share my perspectives, cultural influences, native heritage, and personal narratives. Looking ahead, I plan to launch an annual community art show, dive deeper into community and public art projects, explore Native American art practices, traditional crafts and trades, and focus on making more sustainable and functional art. Overall, I am thrilled to be part of this beautiful Berkshire art community and can’t wait to create more art!
