I am constantly working to create quilts that use color, fabric and the traditions of quilts to create abstract landscapes and vistas of the imagination. My work is in numerous public and private collections including the new Federal District Court House in Springfield, MA, Surdna Foundation in New York City, the Museum of Art + Craft, New York City and The Lodge at Turning Stone in Verona, NY.
I have written numerous articles on my technique including Machine Quilting Unlimited in August 2012 and Quilting Arts in December 2012. After losing my studio to Irene in 2011 I have rebuilt and now have a gallery/studio space that is itself worth the visit. If you are near Shelburne Falls, do drop by and admire my views, my polished cement floors and of course my quilts.
While this is the best selection of my quilts, if you don't find just the right item--I will gladly make a custom quilt just for you. In addition I make a number of decorative accessories including table runners that stretch as long as you want, eyeglass cases with many very thin strips of fabric and a colorful assortment of pillows.
