Artist / Creative (Individual)

I am a published children’s book illustrator, who has worked for both US and UK presses and publications.

Since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design,  I have illustrated 13 books, including ZERO WASTE KIDS (Quarry Books,) MAYBE DAYS: a Book for Children in Foster Care (Magination Press/APA,) OUR FRIENDSHIP RULES (Tilbury House,) Jennifer Richard Jacobson’s Winnie series (Houghton Mifflin,) and Noel Streatfeild’s Shoes Books (Golden Books/Random House.)

I wrote and illustrated NEIL’S CASTLE (Viking Press,) which was translated into Korean.

I illustrated poetry for Cricket Magazine and YA short stories for Cicada magazine, including ‘the April Witch’ by Ray Bradbury.

I live in Western Massachusetts in a house designed by my architect husband. There I can be found storytelling, sewing, and doing the particular arithmetic of parenting three children.
