Winter family mindfulness walk

Mount Greylock State Reservation and TreePose Explorations will hold a Mountain Mindfulness Family Friendly winter walk with yoga, meditation and mindful outdoor experiences with the Mount Greylock Visitor Center.
Families will set out on a guided, slow intentional journey to de-stress while connecting with nature in a mindful outdoor experience that incorporates elements of forest bathing, mindful breathing, nature connection and meditation skills, ending in a group session for sharing and reflection. Leave with inspiration and skills for accessing the healing benefits of nature back home.
Please dress warmly for outdoor hiking in Fall trail conditions. Trails may be muddy or icy. Wear sturdy boots. Traction devices may also be recommended. Bring water and a snack. The program lasts about 2 hours.

This program is free and open to all ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The group will meet at the Visitor Center. All levels are welcome. No previous experience is necessary.
