Holiday sounds and spirit fill downtown Williamstown all weekend, December 6 to 8, on Saturday with caroling, horse-drawn carriage rides, a Penny Social, Santa Claus and the signature Reindog Parade where dog owners deck the hounds and join the fun.

Breakfast with Santa at Ioka Valley Farm — 8 a.m. to noon

Gingerbread House Exhibition at Nature’s Closet — 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., sponsored by Sweetwood of Williamstown

Warm up @ WCMA at Williams College Museum of Art — 10:30 a.m. to noon, warm up in the galleries with a variety of family-friendly activities, looking at art in new ways and enjoying snacks and warm drinks. Visit throughout the day, with galleries open free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the museum shop open too.

Moana 2 film — 11 a.m. screening at Images Cinema. Sponsored by Williamstown Cultural District

Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine clinic — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Walden Street by CHP Berkshires

WUPE-FM live broadcast — noon to 2 p.m.

Crafting for Kids — noon to 2 p.m. at The Log by Ramuntos by Pine Cobble School

Cookie decorating — noon to 2 p.m. at Spoon Cafe inside The Williams Bookstore by Buxton School

Soup-er Bowl Cook-off — noon to 2 p.m. at Williams College Lasell Gym (enter from Main Street/Route 2), by MountainOne and benefiting Williamstown Community Chest

Penny social and nonprofit fair — noon to 3:30 p.m. at Williams College Lasell Gym (enter from Main Street/Route 2). Benefiting Williamstown Community Chest. Let the chorus of Rock Voices entertain you from 12:30 to 1 p.m., and enjoy music with the Flatbed Jazz Band from 2 to 3 p.m.

Yuletide treasures popup shop — 1-5 p.m. at First Congregational Church. Shop vintage and handmade tree ornaments, jewelry and small gifts.

Roxie’s Bakery Popup Shop — 1 to 4 p.m. on Spring Street.

Reindog Parade Lineup and judging — 1:30 p.m. at Falk Science Quad. Enter your decked out furry friends for Small (25 lbs and under), Medium (26-50 lbs), Large (over 50 lbs), and Family Troupe (dogs and humans in costume) categories.

Reindog Parade — 2 p.m. on Spring Street with support from Southwestern Vermont Medical Center

Willinet live — 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Horse-drawn carriage rides — 2:30 to 5 p.m. on Spring Street. Sponsored by The Clark Art Institute

Open Studio — 3 to 5 p.m. at Studio B, 36 Spring Street. Artist Alyssa Sakina Mumtaz opens her studio to the public.

Lessons and Carols — 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Williams College presents a service of music and readings at Thompson Memorial Chapel.

Tree lighting and caroling — 5 p.m. on The Williams Inn Lawn. Sponsored by The Williams Inn

Las Posadas: Welcoming the Stranger — 5:15 p.m. — Meet in front of Hopkins Hall for an outdoor, donkey led, candlelight procession with singing. The procession leads to dinner and nut-safe piñata party at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

Klezmer concert and Havdalah Ceremont — 5:30 p.m. at Williams College Jewish Religious Center, 24 Stetson Court. Ezekiel’s Wheels Klezmer Band, one of the world’s preeminent klezmer ensembles, will lead a concert and musical havdalah ceremony, the ritual to end the Jewish Shabbat. Everyone is welcome! Co-sponsored by the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires, the Williams College Jewish Association, and the Williams College Chaplains’ Office

Holiday musical bingo — 7 p.m. at G.O.A.T (formerly Mingo’s Sports Bar & Grill) Benefiting Louison House

December 1-7: Non-Perishable Festive Food Drive
Please donate cake, brownie and cookie mixes, frosting, baking supplies, and dried fruits to benefit local pantries.

December 8-15: Children & Teens Gift Drive
Please donate NEW unwrapped toys, crafts, books, and games to benefit local families.

December 16-22: Hat & Mittens Drive
Please donate NEW hats, mittens, and gloves to benefit local residents-in-need.
