A Very Special Afternoon with Debbie Bliss
Known worldwide for her signature style and stunning palette, Debbie Bliss is one of the most iconic names in the handknitting world. She has published over 35 knitting books, 20 booklets, numerous individual patterns and even her own magazine. In 2015, she was honored by Queen Elizabeth II for her lifelong dedication to the crafting and handknitting industry.
Please join us on Saturday, November 5th for a very special afternoon as we welcome Debbie Bliss back to WEBS! Although WEBS has been able to add much of Debbie’s line to our offerings both online and in the store thanks to our wonderful collaboration with LoveCrafts, this will be her first visit to the US in far too long. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to visit with her here in Northampton and hear about what’s changed, what’s stayed the same and what’s new in her beautiful selection of handknitting yarns.
From 1:00-3:00 pm Debbie will present a trunk show of some of her new yarns and designs, and talk a bit about her inspiration and craft. And then, from 3:30-4:30 pm, she will be available to say hello and sign her pattern books. If you have a cherished Debbie Bliss pattern book in your collection that you’d like her to sign for you, please bring it along!
As space is limited for the Trunk Show event, a registration fee of $20 is required. All Trunk Show attendees will receive an exclusive goodie bag and be eligible to win a special door prize. The book signing and meet & greet is free and all are welcome to stop by the store to meet Debbie in person.
