Valley Light Opera performs Mozart Requiem

Valley Light Opera (VLO) is pleased to announce our upcoming Spring Concert, the Mozart Requiem. We hope you will join us on April 9, 2022 at 7:30 p.m., when VLO presents the Mozart Requiem, complete with soloists, choir and orchestra.

We offer this performance in tribute to VLO members who departed this world during COVID. Due to ongoing restrictions, we were unable to acknowledge and honor them appropriately. This piece was also chosen to perform in solidarity with our greater community to honor the lives, legacy and contributions made during the lifetime of all individuals who have passed in the last few years.

It is our hope that Mozart’s beautiful music will create a space of grief, remembrance, gratitude and renewal for our suffering, yet resilient community.

The performance on April 9th at 7:30 will take place at Wesley United Methodist Church, 98 N. Maple Street, Hadley, MA. Free will offerings and donations in memory of individuals will be kindly accepted. For more information, please visit www.vlo.org.
