Tue/Thu life drawing

Artists of all ability levels are welcome to attend twice-weekly life drawing sessions in Amherst to draw, paint or sculpt. Practice and develop your skill at rendering the human figure from observation of a live model. Sessions are on an open participation basis, and meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM year round.

No formal instruction is offered during the drawing sessions. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed and supportive, the artists easy-going and respectful.

The open drawing sessions are a great opportunity for community members, students and faculty to draw from life without the effort and expense of hiring a model, in a relaxed but very focused environment.
