Music on Main: Concerts at First Church presents “Together We Sing: A Multicultural Concert” featuring Mak’hela, the Jewish Chorus of Western Mass, directed by Elaine Broad Ginsberg, and the First Church Choir, led by Richard S. Matteson, singing together three choruses from Mendelssohn’s much beloved Elijah and then celebrating music from the Jewish and Christian traditions. The concert takes place on Sunday, May 7 at 2:00 pm at the First Congregational Church, 165 Main Street in Amherst. A donation of $15 is suggested.
