Please join the Multicultural Resource Center in welcoming Gabby Rivera as our keynote speaker for Latinx History Month.Rivera is a queer Puerto Rican author and activist dedicated to inspiring young people to live a life that is joyfully open and revolutionary. She made major waves for her Marvel series starring America Chavez, a queer, Latinx superhero. She’s also the author of /Juliet Takes a Breath/, a critically acclaimed coming-of-age story starring a queer puertorriqueña who leaves her native Bronx behind to intern with one of her literary heroes.
