SZLACHETKA (aka Matthew Szlachetka pronounced SLA-HET-KA) is from Longmeadow right here in Western Mass. The roots-rock singer/songwriter plays music filled with heartland hooks, folk melodies, and vibrant electric guitar that go down like a road trip between Los Angeles – where SZLACHETKA lived for years, soaking up the warm harmonies and jangling riffs of the city's folk-rock icons – to his new home in Nashville, TN, the epicenter of modern-day Americana. Rolling Stone Country praised his "road-dog roots-rockers and Americana ballads” as he's been building his audience show-by-show, touring for more than 200 days a year.
