Student Art Brings Literature to Life Exhibit

Deerfield Valley Art Association is encouraging Franklin County students (public, private, or home-schooled; grades 1-12) to create art related to a favorite book. Kids can submit one to three pieces, any size/all media/family-friendly content for the “Student Art Brings Literature to Life” exhibit being held at Fiddleheads Gallery,105 Main St., Northfield, on weekends from January 27 to February 19. Parents or teachers should contact margedvaa@gmail.com for details by January 12. Students can opt to price their work ($5 for grades 1-5, $10 for Grades 6-12). Students need not be especially talented in art techniques; everyone should read and make art!
