Sean Kelly Of The Samples

The Samples sustain a culture of still-loyal fans with heartfelt and wistful songs; a heady mix of rock, reggae, and folk. Any Gen-Xer worth their salt can sing you the chorus to their 1992 hit “Did You Ever Look So Nice.” Formed by Sean Kelly in 1987 in Boulder, CO, the Samples were essentially the house band at Red Rocks. They were a stalwart of Blues Traveler’s H.O.R.D.E. Festivals. Then upstarts The Dave Matthews Band and Hootie and the Blowfish both opened for The Samples. We are excited to welcome Sean and the band to the Bombyx backyard for a transcendent evening under stars.
