Revision: Process and Strategies

A question beginning poets often ask is: how do I know when a poem is done? There are many ways to revise, and many ways to decide that a poem is “finished”—in this workshop, we will map some possible approaches to the end stages of the composition process. Please bring a printed version of a poem you’d like to revise to class, as well as paper for writing and a writing utensil.
