ONLINE PROGRAM: Register by clicking the GET TICKETS link Eager to learn something new...and do it in your pajamas? Look no further! We're excited to partner with our friends at Halcyon Arts to offer a series of online classes. Join cultural arts curator and radio show host Vidhi Salla in an exploration of representations of faith and spirituality in popular Indian cinema. Several films in Indian cinema hold a mirror and highlight the nature of faith, an especially difficult endeavor in a country comprising people of multiple religious faiths. This workshop will showcase, with examples, how religion and spirituality offer a glimpse into the culture of a people and the universality of human behaviors around faith. Enjoy the colorful ride through Vidhi's insider lens, watching and discussing clips from famous and obscure films with a question and answer period at the end. Not familiar with Vidhi Salla, you may enjoy this article in the Greenfield Recorder. This program is a fundraiser for future concert programming at Halcyon Arts New England. Your generous donation is greatly appreciated.
