People I Love | Melaina Kol| Silvie’s Okay

People I Love is an indie rock band based in Brooklyn, NY. The 5th, self-titled album, "People I Love", is out now on Vinegar Hill Sound Records.

Melaina Kol is a solo project based in Nashville, TN. His prolific output has earned him a cult following over the past 6 years. Since then, he's been joined by a live band- which has built a darker and louder atmosphere out of his quiet songs.

Joined by local band Silvie’s Okay. Silvie's Okay is years-in-the-making but freshly-formed (summer 2023) Western Mass queer indie - sometimes devastating, sometimes sexually charged - always sincere. Brought together to fuel the fires of front person Vince Thompson's passionate work, the band’s delivery lands somewhere between achey folk, pop country and indie rock. Silvie’s first EP, 'Grit and Bare it', was released in April.
