"Sarah Carragher ('care-uh-.her) is a mixed-media artist based in western Massachusetts. At the heart of her practice is a love of paper cutting and collage: she is also skilled in drawing. painting. jewelry-making. and digital design. There will be an artist's reception on Saturday, January 11, from 1:30 - 3:30 pm.

Sarah's work has been featured in galleries across the Connecticut River Valley. including the Holyoke Print Shop. the Taber Art Gallery. CitySpace. and 33 Hawley Street. In 2021. she joined forces with local nonprofit Resilient Community Arts. where she instructs workshops. hosts community events. creates marketing graphics. and helps to secure grant funding.

  In April 2024. she received a Faculty Award for Excellence in Visual Art from Holyoke Community College. where she is currently pursuing a certificate in graphic design. This credential is helping her to build upon her career in publishing and to further develop herself as an artist."
