Moving Day Album Release Show With The Leafies You Gave Me and Space Camp

Moving Day will be playing our album release show on Saturday, November 12 at Workshop 13 in Ware, MA! We'll be joined by a killer lineup of Space Camp and The Leafies You Gave Me. Slumber in Motion will be available on cassette and CD, as well as on all streaming services. Tickets $18-20. Music at 7pm.

Moving Day is vocalist Robbie Juarez, cellist Dylan Coffey-Moore, and Rocco Desgres on synthesizer. Their melodic and eclectic sound is influenced by electronic music old and new. They combine their passion for modern acts like Advance Base, Nation of Language, and LCD Soundsystem with early synth bands like Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark, Depeche Mode, and Kraftwerk. 

Founding members Robbie and Rocco met at PVPA, an arts-integrated charter school in Western Massachusetts, in 2012. They’ve collaborated in different projects over the years, including groups such as Cosmic Duct Tape and Translucent Industry. After graduating in 2018, the duo formed Moving Day, experimenting with math rock and guitar pop before shifting their focus toward synthesizers. After including Dylan on one song as an experiment, it was an obvious choice to make him a permanent member of the band, creating a unique instrumentation and sonic palette. Moving Day has been committed to performing and writing as a trio since. Their debut album Slumber In Motion will be available November 12 on all streaming services.
