Music is often used to convey emotions that cannot be expressed using words. In her recital, Geeganage explores such strong emotions as love, grief, and wonder, and the ways in which composers seek to transform their feelings into music. With a focus on Romantic and post- Romantic era compositions, she dives into the idea of music as a vessel for portraying emotions that transcend language.
