“Home is a River”: Photographs by Alix Kaplan

The Greenfield Public Library welcomes photographer Alix Kaplan and their exhibit *Home is a River,* which will be on display in the Library’s Conference Room this April. An opening reception will be held in the Conference Room  on Wednesday, April 2, from 5:00 - 7:30 pm.

Alix Kaplan grew up an only child and learned early on that the environment offers a companionship to all those who need it. They hold a degree in Environmental Studies from Tufts University and a handful of awards from film festivals for their work in animation. Alix now resides in Greenfield, MA working for a local conservation organization, Connecticut River Conservancy. Their photographs are the culmination of artistic curiosity and environmental stewardship.
