Healing●Awakening●Resolution: Reawakening of Peter Knapp

Date/Time

Location

Anchor House of Artists (518 Pleasant Street ground floor, Northampton, MA 01060, Northampton MA)

Knapp is a seventy-one-year-old artist who, in 2012, died from a cardiac arrest on the operating table and was revived. However, subsequently, he developed ulcerative colitis that required hospitalization and medication. The trauma of his cardiac incident and gastrointestinal disease led to crippling depression. He sought therapy and found solace enough to launch into art as a path to healing. In this, he found redemption and celebration allowing him to set upon creating a fabulous, visionary suite including abstract paintings; woodblock prints; and conceptual table-like constructs.

On Sunday, March 13, the Northampton Woodwind Quintet will perform at 5:00 p.m. and the galleries will open at 3 o'clock that afternoon. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
