Hatfield's Hometown Heroes of WWI

As July 4 th approaches, join us to learn about Hatfield citizens answering a WWI call to serve, Rob Wilson, Hatfield Historical Society vice-president, will explore the experiences of local men and women who served in Europe and on the Home-front. Their compelling stories—taken from letters, journals and newspaper articles—will be illustrated with historic photographs. There’s even a tale about a starstruck Hatfield soldier and an American relief worker who met in France! A display of Historical Museum WWI artifacts will complement Rob’s presentation.
