Grayson Ty is a singer-songwriter from the picturesque landscapes of western Massachusetts. For over a decade, Grayson has been crafting melodies and lyrics that connect deeply with audiences, earning a loyal following in the region.
In June 2024, Grayson released his 5-track EP, Bloodline. This collection of songs represents a meaningful exploration of his transition into country and Americana roots, blending raw authenticity with heartfelt storytelling. To celebrate the release, Grayson performed at the historic Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton, MA, a sold-out show that reflected the support and enthusiasm of his community.
In 2024, Grayson was honored with nominations for the New England Music Awards’ “Roots Act of the Year” and the Boston Music Awards’ “Country Artist of the Year.” Earlier in the year, he and his band gave a memorable performance at The Parlor Room in Northampton, further showcasing his evolving sound and dynamic stage presence.
Beyond his solo work, Grayson is one half of the duo SONAURA, alongside his wife, Laura Buchanan. Their debut album, released in 2023, highlighted the synergy of their musical talents and personal connection, earning warm reception from listeners and critics alike.
Offstage, Grayson brings his passion for music to his work as a music therapist, using his talents to uplift underrepresented and marginalized communities. His dedication to this work reflects his belief in the power of music to heal, inspire, and unite.
