Deb McCutchen reads from her new book, Electric Ice, a post-apocalyptic, post-gender story that pulses with plot twists, fierce determination, and unrelenting hope, navigating our own unrecognizable world with messages of love and survival in all its forms.

There will be time for Q & A, refreshments, and casual conversation with the author. Book will be available for purchase after the reading.  

Bio:

Deb McCutchen is Senior Lecturer ll at UMass Amherst in the College of Natural Sciences and currently serves as Co-Associate Director of the Junior-Year Writing Program. She has an MFA in creative writing (UMass) and a graduate Diploma in Science, DipSci (Otago University, New Zealand). She has authored several other books including Mammals I Think We Are Called and Jellyfish Dreaming.
