This collaborative multidimensional piece considers the relationship of bird migration to settler and Indigenous land relations and practices.
We invite you to think actively, critically, and with curiosity. Throughout the experience we center on non-human storytelling, joy and imagination as radical acts. You will have the opportunity to experience the world through bird senses. Our practice in thinking about relationality to place, space, peoples and positionality is rooted in Indigenous Ways of Knowing, and community based theater practices. As an ensemble we are actively considering our positionality in relation to these questions and ask that as you move through this experience you do the same.
As participants you are invited to actively engage these themes and stories through collaborative, multisensory storytelling scores
Dress in layers and bring a flashlight for walking from parking to CSA Barn.
