Drawing closer — Loosen up

The Manton Study Center for Works on Paper invites artists of all experience and skill levels to work closely after thematic selections of drawings from the Clark’s collection.

December’s theme focuses on prints and drawings made from loose brushstrokes and free flowing forms to help participants “loosen up” their hands, relinquishing careful, controlled markings to embrace a freer and more spontaneous practice.

Basic materials are provided. Artists bringing their own supplies should note that only graphite pencils are allowed in the Study Center and museum galleries.

The workshop is free, but advanced registration is required, and capacity is limited to 15 people.
