Dewey Drop-in — Storytelling

Storytelling connects people. Being able to tell stories and listen to the stories of others helps people make meaning out of experiences and defines who we understand ourselves to be.

Dewey Hall holds storytelling events with Sheffield resident Chris Kelly, monthly on third Wednesdays. After all storytellers have finished sharing, there will be a group discussion exploring themes, similarities, and contrasts noticed within the stories as a whole. From this activity, Dewey Hall hopes to strengthen ties and to encourage a sense of connection and belonging within our region.

First Wednesdays: Game Nights Bring a game or join a game!

Second Wednesdays: Jazz Jams w/ bandleader Luke Franco (participants and audience welcome)

Third Wednesdays: Storytelling Evenings, Story listen and share. Hosted by Chris Kelly
