Dancing Outside the Lines

This improvisational dance class is an opportunity for folks at all levels of experience to move with ease and joy. In this class, we work toward opening our bodies to the unrestricted flow of movement, as we open our consciousness to search for where we are and where we need to go. We will take advantage of things that happen by accident, simultaneously cultivating intention. We'll explore concepts in improvisation both as part of an internal centering and a way of connecting with others. This class develops a sense of community, is about the students and their dancing and creates an atmosphere where each of us can soar.  A wide variety of beautiful music accompanies our movement.
